An online hub offering advice on tactics, technique, nutrition and fitness for 5-a-side and 7-a-side football players and teams has been developed by Mitre Sports International.
Mitre Star aims to curate the best bite-sized online content in these areas, working with online influencers and their existing communities such as FourFourTwo and nutritionist Ben Coombes.
Intending to engage a younger audience, Mitre developed a social media strategy to launch the new hub.
“The popularity of 5-a-side and 7-a-side games continues to increase in the UK and we are committed to introducing relevant products and content that appeal to this audience,” said Will Klug, brand marketing manager at Mitre Sports International.
“Our partnership with the Lucozade Powerleague is building brand awareness, whilst the launch of Mitre Star is created to enhance player’s football experience. We have ambitious plans for the brand in the UK and Ireland.”
