The capsules on EDF Energy's London Eye have been fitted with state of the art Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 devices in a move designed to improve the flight experience of visitors.
The interactive guides enable guests to access key information about what they can see by touching the landmark on the screen or by searching its name to find it.
In addition to information about 44 famous London landmarks, guests can enjoy 24 hour time-lapse photography, 360˚ day and night views from the Eye itself - operated by Merlin Entertainments and the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel - and bird's eye views of some of the landmarks as well as a 'look inside' some of the structures.
Also included with every ticket purchased is the EDF Energy London Eye 4D Experience, the first live action, 4D attraction film ever produced in the UK and containing the first ever 3D aerial photography over London. The film brings together a number of 3D filming styles: aerials, time lapse, live action and sophisticated visual effects.
