Three Scottish Premier League (SPL) clubs have used Barenbrug grass seed to ready their pitches for the upcoming 2009-10 season.
Starting in August, Falkirk (pictured), Aberdeen and St Johnstone have implemented a combination of rapid turf repair mixture BAR 50 SOS and deep-rooting BAR 10 RTF.
Falkirk FC's three-time winner of the IOG Scottish Football Groundsman of the Year Award, Jim Dawson says: "Most recently, we tried BAR 10 RTF on our goal mouths and tunnel areas as the turf was simply coming away with wear and the improvements to both our Westfield stadium and University of Stirling training facilities have been fantastic."
