Swiss skincare brand, Karin Herzog, has launched what was meant to be a limited edition Co-c02 Easter facial.
However, such was the demand for the real Swiss chocolate treatment that it has been made available at least until the end of the year and possibly beyond that.
Co-c02 is a combination of Herzog’s oxygen skin care products and the beneficial properties contained in chocolate.
It begins with a deep cleanse and skin preparation, followed by a deep drain massage using Monoi oil infused in cocoa beans.
An exclusive chocolate cream – blended with Swiss cocoa powder and including a range of essential fatty acids, potassium, lipids and vitamins – is then applied, followed by a layer of freshly melted real Swiss chocolate to warm and insulate the skin and allow all the beneficial ingredients to be absorbed.
To reward the inner woman, the treatment concludes with a mug of hot chocolate and a chocolate gift, designed to help stimulate the release of serotonin, the feel-good hormone.
